I am seeing a GP, can I also have Nutritional Therapy?

A nutritional therapist is not a doctor, and a GP generally doesn’t know that much about nutrition, but the two can work very well together.

The results that Nutritional Therapy can have on health and well-being, and the personal approach, make it very helpful in the management of difficult to treat chronic conditions, especially those related to diet and lifestyle.

In 2015 the General Medical Council (GMC) has amended referrals guidance to doctors so that they can now refer patients wanting complementary therapies to CNHC registered practitioners including Nutritional Therapists, like myself.
